As part of the Urban Design Roster, I was commissioned in 2024 to create a colourful crosswalk for Beban Social Centre. The City of Nanaimo asked to represent all the activities the center offers and to capture the field, ice, and pool in a single design.
Using Thermoplastic, it was also important to ensure the design remained simple so the city could perform routine maintenance when necessary.
